ITINERARY:
Day 01: Dibrugarh - Namsai – Tezu
Meet and greet at Dibrugarh Airport. Transfer to Tezu enroute visit Namsai – a beautiful Buddhist Village. Visit the Famous Golden Pagoda Temple. Proceed to Tezu for Overnight stay.
Day 02: Tezu - Hayuliang – Walong
Post breakfast head towards Walong. Roads repairing work is underway so we will drive slow along the Lohit River which gives a mesmerising view of the valley. We will take a pause and stop at Hawa Camp to feel the beauty of majestic Lohit River. Continuing our journey to Walong we’ll reach there by evening. Take some rest and prepare for the early morning trek. Overnight in Walong
Day 03: Walong - Roing
Here comes the day you were waiting for. Wake up at around 1 AM in the morning/mid-night. We will start trek (Approx 2-2.5 Hrs) from Dong at around 2 AM and reach the peak by 4 AM. If you are not a regular trekker/ Hiker, this steep trek can be a bit tiring. It’s a bit chilli in the early morning so you can warm yourself by setting up a bonfire. Enjoy the once in a lifetime experience as you are witnessing once in lifetime experience – The first Sunrise of India. Return to base and have breakfast, later proceed for Roing for overnight stay.
Day 04: Roing – Dambuk - Aalo
Moring start early to Aalo enroute takes a stop in Dambuk – The orange capital of Northeast India. It hosts the annual calendar event ‘The Orange festival of Adventure and Music’ with many adventure activities and cultural and musical events with the Orange orchards and paddy fields as beautiful backdrops. Reach Aalo in the evening. Rest and overnight stay in Aalo.
Day 05: Aalo – Mechuka
After breakfast, we will move to Mechuka the Shangri- La of Arunachal Pradesh. On the way a brief stopover to enjoy the beauty and grandeur of Siko- Dido waterfalls and after lunch there we again continue our journey to Mechuka. After reaching Mechuka we check-in at Home Stay. We can have an evening stroll at the town to enjoy the spectacular beauty. At dinner, we enjoy local cuisine at our Homestay before retiring for the night.
Day 06: Mechuka
After breakfast, you visit Neh pemshubu pilgrimage holy water fall, Meditation cave, lucky stone, holy water drop, gurudwara, Hanuman face, yorlung view(china border). Overnight stay in Mechuka.
Day 07: Mechuka – Aalo
After Breakfast, we proceed for Dibrugarh. On the way a brief stopover to enjoy the beauty and grandeur of Siko-Dido waterfalls and after lunch on the way reach Aalo and check-in at Home Stay. Overnight stay in Aalo
Day 08: Aalo - Pasighat – Dibrugarh
After breakfast, we proceed for our return journey to Dibrugarh. Stopover at Pasighat for lunch and local market visit. Visit the rapids of Siang river is on the cards. You are dropped at the Residence / Hotel at Dibrugarh. End of Tour.
Day 09: Departure
Post breakfast transfer to Mohanbari Airport for your onwards journey. Tour ends with sweet
memories.
