Day 2: Dibrugarh to Mon

Day 3: Explore Mon


Today, we delve into the rich culture of the Konyak Nagas. Our first stop is a traditional Konyak village, renowned for its tattooed warriors and unique customs. Later, we explore the fascinating Longwa Village, a place that straddles the India-Myanmar border. Immerse yourself in the local traditions and customs, getting a deeper insight into the Naga way of life. You'll spend another night in Mon.


Day 4: Mon to Tuensang


Leaving Mon behind, we continue our journey towards Tuensang, celebrated for its scenic beauty. En route, you'll have the opportunity to visit villages that showcase the diverse Naga tribes, each with its distinct culture and traditions. Upon arrival in Tuensang, check-in to your hotel, and take time to explore the vibrant local markets and engage with the friendly locals. You'll spend the night in Tuensang.


Day 5: Explore Tuensang


Today, we immerse ourselves in the unique traditions and rituals of the Chang tribe. Our explorations include a visit to Tuensang Village, where you'll have the chance to interact with the locals and gain insights into their daily lives. Tuensang's mesmerizing landscapes are perfect for nature enthusiasts, and optional trekking opportunities are available for those seeking adventure. You'll spend another night in Tuensang.


Day 6: Tuensang to Touphema


We bid farewell to Tuensang and head towards Touphema, a tranquil Naga village. Here, you'll experience the warm hospitality of the Angami tribe. Upon arrival, check-in to a community-based eco-lodge, where you'll have the unique opportunity to enjoy cultural performances and savor traditional Naga cuisine. You'll spend the night in Touphema.


Day 7: Explore Touphema. Transfer to Khonoma


Begin your day by exploring Touphema village and its lush surroundings. You'll have the chance to learn about Angami traditions and customs, gaining a deeper understanding of the local way of life. In the afternoon, we transfer to Khonoma, a picturesque village known for its conservation efforts. After checking in to your accommodation, take some time to relax and soak in the beauty of this eco-friendly village. You'll spend the night in Khonoma.


Day 8: Khonoma to Kohima


Today, we continue our exploration of Khonoma, visiting the Khonoma Nature Conservation and Tragopan Sanctuary, where you can connect with nature. Later, we drive to Kohima, the capital of Nagaland. Upon arrival, you'll have the opportunity to explore the local markets and pay your respects at the War Cemetery. After checking in at your hotel in Kohima, enjoy a comfortable night's rest.


Day 9: Kohima to Dimapur Departure


After a hearty breakfast, we depart for Dimapur, the final leg of our journey. In Dimapur, we explore the Kachari ruins and visit the famous Diezephe Craft Village, providing one last chance for souvenir shopping. As your adventure with Hill Rovers concludes, we'll transfer you to Dimapur Airport for your onward journey, bidding you farewell with cherished memories of the mystical Northeast.
